Mrs Fields Cookie Recipe

MRS. FIELD CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, finely grated
2-3 c. chopped nuts

Mix first 3 ingredients. Add eggs and vanilla; set aside. Mix together 4 cups flour and 5 cups oatmeal and put into a blender. Blend until powdery. Add salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix all above ingredients together and add chocolate chips and Hershey bar, finely grated and nuts. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. Make golf ball sized cookies.

MRS. FIELD’S COOKIES

1 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 overflowing tsp. vanilla
7 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
18-24 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars, then beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into butter mixture, forming a stiff batter. Add chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Use an ice cream scoop to drop batter on ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 27 big cookies. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees.

SECRET: Put loads of chocolate chips and bake for short while for chewy moist cookies.
